Ability to display more than 4 disciplines on the By Discipline tab

I would imagine most projects have more than 4 disciplines on the project and the ability to display more than 4 disciplines on the By Discipline tab would be helphful.

If it was possible to actually select more than 4 disciplines like 8 that would provide us and our project teams with that as an option but leave the disciplines to 4 if you don't actually select the disciplines to display.

The project team members can see a more detailed crosscut of the project based on information captured based on discipline.

This would improve the project team's response to possible areas on the project that need help and resources to meet either internally deadlines or client deadlines.

There may be projects were their are just 4 or less disciplines and then there are those projects that may have numerous disciplines depending on the scope of the project.

    Hello,

We are open to discuss how to extend/improve the content of By Discipline dashboard tab. But there is a risk that we might overwhelm the user by displaying data form all disciplines always. Also not all disciplines are equally important at all the times. So we’d like to come up with some intelligent solution and not just list all the disciplines always. Can I please ask you to think about how a presentation could be done without getting a too ‘cluttered view and please share your thoughts?

What if we'd allow 8 disciplines? How much better would it be if we’d display 8 disciplines instead of 4? Just minor improvement or much better? Why?

How would you imagine project teams would be using this data? What kind of decisions you think they’d be able to make based on data displayed?

    Regards,

    Rimantas
